This a Photogragh of the Hemsworth Home Guard Football Team before the ending of the second World War, Mr Ridgill was the first trainer. In order to be in the team they had to be in the Home Guard who went on duty three times a week depending on their work shifts as most of the team were miner's. (Mrs. H. Iveson)
